About the Spirit of Michigan Chorus
The Spirit of Michigan Chorus offers women the opportunity to learn barbershop harmony in a large group, helps them develop their skills, and encourages them to sing in quartets.
We began in January of 2024 and are growing every week. Come and be a part of our growth!

Why Sing in Harmony?
Did you know that singing with a group has documented health and wellness benefits? It increases our happiness, our sense of community, and it turns out it’s good for us physically as well, with benefits like the release of endorphins and lowered blood pressure. It also gives us a strong sense of community, and we’d love for you to become part of ours!
About Harmony Inc.
Harmony Inc. is an international women’s barbershop organization formed in 1959. They seek to “[empower] all women through singing, education, and friendship.” Their statement on inclusion is available here.
